Rule # 1 Respect. Just because you're sitting at your computer doesn't mean that you don't afford people the same courtesy that you would if you met them in the village store or at the local market. One of the biggest problems in sites like this is when people resort to name-calling, it's childish and imprudent, don't do it. Rule # 2 NightCappers is serious about the safety of children on the internet. If you are under 18 or a parent whose children are using the net please take the time to read the safety guidelines. Rule # 3 Any material that is posted on this site MUST be suitable for children. Anything with pornographic or violent content will be deleted and the offenders account automatically trashed and IP address blocked, no questions asked. Rule # 4 NightCappers maintains a policy of an awareness of the rights of minorities. Any material that is sexist, racist, that discriminates or is offensive on the basis of gender, race, religion, age or sexual preference. Continuing offenders will be banned. It's OK to bag out Microsoft though.
Safety Guidelines Don't leave personal information on public areas of the site. Parents and guardians should be aware of their child's activity on the net. There is a lot more information for parents here. Kids need to get their parents involved, they may not know too much about how the internet works, help them out.
