NightCappers.org is part of Web 2.0, where poeople connect online. This little corner of the web is for the folks around NightCap National Park. If you live in Nimbin, The Channon, Dunoon, Minyon, Federal, Rosebank, Modanville, Durroughby or if you recognise those names then come on in.
It's meant to be an alternative to the megolith sites myspace, facebook etc. One that is easier, less invasive and just more like us. Hopefully it offers everything you need in a social networking site, if there's any features you'd like added let me know and I'll do what I can.
I hope that the many small groups in the area will take it up, from local schools and preschools, bush fire brigades, music clubs. We are a diverse group and there are lots of amazing things happening here.
The site has been developed by me, Paddy Curley, out on Terania Ck Rd using my little MacBook on a solar/hydro setup. It's sponsored by local businesses, people that we all know and are a vital part of our community. If the site has something to offer you and your group then let them know and send your business their way when you can. The more work that stays in the area the better for all of us.
There are a few rules that are meant to keep the site family friendly and especially safe for kids so make sure you read those before you sign up and please let me know how you get on (I'm admin).
